Did you ask him what he wanted for his birthday and he responded with “nothing, I already have everything I need”?

Well screw that! Of course he doesn’t!

And if he does, he sure doesn’t have everything he wants. He might just not know it yet.

In this guide, I have compiled 17 amazing birthday gift ideas that I can almost guarantee you he does not have but will appreciate so much!

This guide will technically be a part 2 of my previous guide, so if none of these hit the spot, check out these 11 other birthday gift ideas for men who claim they already have everything!

Let’s get into it.

Go with some good old beef jerkey for the minimalistic man

Men are simple, simple creatures (no offense).

Sometimes you don't need to get them anything fancy.

Sometimes, simply some good ol beef jerkey will do.

So get them this awesome beef jerkey kit/giftbasket.

If they really feel like they don't want any more items in their house, then consumables are always the way to go!

Make the basket even bigger by adding a bottle of something they like to it, like wine or whisky or... soda, I don't know. Knock yourself out!

Gift him a super unique and fun whiskey smoker kit!

If your recipient is even remotely into whisky or cocktails, you must get him this Whiskey Smoke Set.

It's a cool thing to play around with, and not very many people have it.

My old man is still obsessed with this kinda stuff and I kid you not he said it's one of the best gifts he's ever received (and it wasn't even his birthday!).

I don't know jack about whiskey, but apparently the smoke does something cool with it, and I'm not one to judge (or drink whiskey).

This gift will of course pair even better if you also bring them a bottle of whiskey, even the cheap stuff, just so they have a way to start playing around with the kit right away should they wish to.

Personalize some wine glasses with him with his name on it

I absolutely adore these laser-engraved wine glasses, so I truly recommend you go for it!

Customize it with his initials, the family name or anything else that matters -- it's a great gift that will remain as a small heirloom in his home for many, many years!

I feel like it's something everything should have, but almost nobody does, so prove to her that she does not, in fact, "have everything"

... alternatively, if your recipient is more of a whisky than wine guy (as they often are), check out these engraved whisky glasses instead!

Gift him a vintage record player with some nice records of music he loves

Get him a vinyl record player with a few albums of some of his favorite artists!

Amazon has some fantastic options of cheap vinyl players like this one, and then its just a matter of finding music you know he'll enjoy from either your local record store or online!

If he already has a vinyl player (since he claims he has everything, right???), you can just get him a few of his or your favorite records that he doesn't already own!

Make sure his name is always lit up with some customizable LED light letters

Get him some fancy LED light up letters that spells out either his name or anything else you can think of!

I always feel like his first or last name is a safe one to go with, and then he can hang'em up anywhere he likes.

I got this idea from my niece, who has these letters hanging up over her computer where she spelled out "Breathe" and I thought it was kinda cute. Maybe he can put up something super cool and manly, like "testosterone" or "alpha super werewolf"

Just kidding.

All people need water, regardless, so might as well make sure they consume it in a fun way!

We're living in the future, and one of the coolest new athletic hydration gadgets on the market right now is this Smart Water Bottle that lights up and reminds you to drink.

It also keeps water ice cold and just looks super cool!

Get him some beautiful wall art you know he'll appreciate

I absolutely love gifting wall-art.

For people who already have a lot, or maybe a bit too much clutter that you don't want to add to, I always recommend going with some beautiful minimalistic but unique wall-art

Think something like this.

You of course have to make your own judgement on what he's going to like, based on what his style is. I can guarantee you that any home, studio or bachelor pad will look a lot more sophisticated with something like that though!

Bonsai Trees are awesome and cheap, yet no one seems to own them? Change that!

I swear, men needs more plants in their life, so get him something that's super easy to take care of!

Bonsai trees look wonderful in all sorts of houses and apartments and is a wonderful little gift to give someone who already has a lot.

It even works for the minimalist man, I promise.

Keep him tucked in and warm in the best way possible with a weighted or heated blanket

Especially if you live somewhere that comes with cold, dark winters -- like my state of Washington.

Nothing makes a long reading or movie session better than a weighted blanket, like this one that I'm personally a big fan off.

Alternatively, you could get a heated one if you think that's more their style!

Couch naps have never hit so good.

I bet you he doesn't have a customized puzzle with his face on it...

Alright so this is what you're going to do:

Find the most unflattering, hilarious photo of your recipient. Not something mean, but something where he definitely do not look like he'd be on the front page of Time Magazine.

Then you go right here and slap it on a Jigsaw puzzle.

It's hilarious and he's going to love it.

He might think he has everything, but I guarantee he does not have that.

... of course, if you want to make it a more special and thoughtful gift, you could also just pick a photo of his family, friend group, pets, achievements or anything else that's actually got some more meaning (but wont be as funny).

Get him this amazing indoor smart garden, that will completely take care of any spices or plants he'd like.

It looks super cool too!

He doesn't have a towel heater, and they are awesome, so get him one right now

Have you ever used a towel straight out of the dryer after exiting the shower?

There are few things more blissful.

Luckily they made an entire invention based on this momentary feeling of bliss, and it's the Flyhit Towel Heater!

It's such a great comfort item that I think any household just needs. Yet, no one has, and I'm sure your recipient doesn't have it either.
